Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide array of level editing tools, which extends from Build to Radiant-based editors and Hammer.
- Functional knowledge of 3D modeling with tools such as 3D Studio Max and Blender.
- Formally-taught programming languages such as C, C++ and Java.
- Background in visual art, specifically black and white drawings.
Experience
- Over ten years of level design and game design as a hobby.
- Involvement in numerous level design projects, solo, community and team-based.
- Heavy involvement in a devoted Quake mapping community which includes many professional game designers, some of which work at Raven Software, Big Rooster, Electronic Arts and Nintendo.
- Hosted weekly sessions of Quake speed-mapping for a year.
- Currently involved with the Hexen: Edge of Chaos development team as a level designer.
Education
- Graduated from UWMilwaukee in January, 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
- Graduated from Milwaukee High School of the Arts in 2003 with a major in
Visual Arts.
Awards
- Awarded a Quake Rune from my Quake community for level design.
